Pregnancy Aid, a non-profit pro-life organization serving pregnant women in need, began as a direct response to the legalization of abortion, over 35 years ago. Since then, it has offered free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, maternity clothes, baby clothes, baby equipment, books and pro-life literature to women and their families.
Now, Pregnancy Aid also offers classes and support groups designed to foster a deeper spirituality and financial self-sufficiency. Some of the class topics include: budgeting, newborn care, prenatal nutrition, breastfeeding, parenting, relationships, and God's plan for life.
Pregnancy Aid is a positive resource for women considering abortion. Help us continue to offer life as a realistic alternative. We couldn't do what we do, without you.
Please consider donating to St. Joan of Arc's Baby Basics Baby Shower. A little bit can save a life.
It saved this one.
Starting the weekend of October 4th and 5th, the Christian Service Commission will be holding a Baby Basic Event for Pregnancy Aid. Boards will be at the church entrance doors with tags which list baby items that are most needed for this special organization.
Please consider taking a tag to show your support for the work that this wonderful organization has provided. You may drop off your item any weekend through October 25th and 26th by placing your donation in the boxes located throughout the Church.
Pregnancy Aid also accepts "gently used" infant clothing (newborn to 12 month), blankets, strollers, and maternity clothing throughout the year.
If you have any items you would like to donate, need more information regarding this Event or would like to get involved in Pregnancy Aid, please call Monica Szabo at (313) 882-8412 or email at
